Program Details

  • Who is this program for?

The retreat is designed for anyone seeking healing, renewal, and inner balance. No prior meditation or yoga experience is required. This is one of the most complete programs available, combining science-based nutrition, mindful movement, and contemplative practices to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

  • What about the meals?

All meals are provided and follow a mindful nutrition plan created through more than 30 years of research in the Dr. Kang Food Intervention Program. The program emphasizes foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, carefully selected supplements, low carbohydrates, and high antioxidant content to reduce inflammation and support healing. In addition to breakfast and lunch, you’ll also enjoy two nutrition-boosted smoothies each day to maintain energy and nourishment between meals.

Practicalities

  • Can I bring a caregiver or support person?

Yes. Caregivers and companions are welcome and can be accommodated.

  • Is the retreat accessible for those with limited mobility?

The program is gentle and adaptable. Please let us know your needs in advance so we can support you.

  • What about language support?

The main language is English, with Thai translation available in all retreats.

  • How do I get to the retreat center?

The retreat is approximately two hours from Chiang Mai Airport. Transport options and detailed directions are provided upon registration. Pickup is available from major hubs such as Chiang Mai City or Pa Pae. Options include private car, taxi, Grab, or public vans, and some guests use minibuses. Upon arrival, staff will assist with transport and orientation to your accommodation huts.

  • What happens after the 14 days?

We encourage and educate participants to choose to continue mindfulness, movement and nutrition practices at home. We provide follow-up resources and community support to help you sustain the benefits.

  • Can I return for another program?

Yes. Graduates are welcome to join future retreats or longer-term training programs for deeper practice.
